Cuxham Village Hall is a historic, mid-19th-century building originally built in 1848 as the National School. Located next to the Church of the Holy Rood in the conservation area of the small rural parish of Cuxham, it sits just 2 km (about 1.2 miles) northwest of Watlington. The hall features distinctive Victorian revival and decorative Gothic terracotta detailing. There is a fabulous historical summary along the East wall including a canon ball found locally.
The Village Hall is available for private functions, social events and community activities or classes. The Hall measures 10.6m x 3.9m (42sq m) with a wooden floor and has capacity for 60-80 standing. There are various sizes of tables (easy to erect) and 30 chairs.
The Hall includes a kitchen (fridge, stove, oven, coffee maker, 2 kettles, crockery), toilet facilities and an enclosed outdoor garden.
The cost of the Hall is £10 per hour for residents and £15 per hour for external patrons.
